“Huawei Cares” shares happiness in the month of Ramadan

Jakarta (MidLand) – Huawei Indonesia is carrying out corporate social responsibility activities titled “Huawei Cares – Ramadhan 1445H”, as part of the company’s commitment to welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan and making positive contributions to society.

“Today is a distribution or sharing of happiness for all of us. Every time Huawei makes CSR donations for Ramadan, the topic is the same, how can we benefit all of us,” said Mohammad Rosidi, Director of Strategy and of Huawei Indonesia’s ICT business. in Jakarta, Tuesday (26 /3).

This year is the fifth time that Huawei Indonesia has carried out this activity as a form of continuous contribution to Indonesia’s progress. Rosidi said the event provided inspiration for Huawei to continue contributing to the “I Do Care” program, especially in the use of technology for all levels of society, including children and women.

“Huawei Cares – Ramadhan 1445 H” focuses on spreading digital goodness among Islamic students and colleges. By providing telecommunications equipment for teaching and learning activities, Huawei seeks to increase digital interest and awareness in the Islamic educational environment.

In addition to this, Huawei also provides support for ICT solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities in Islamic boarding schools and orphanages. This is in line with Huawei’s commitment to showcasing digital talent and preparing digital connectivity across Indonesia.

Donations in the form of telecommunications equipment and support for teaching and learning activities were symbolically handed over to the Nurul Qolbi Islamic Boarding School and Vocational School in Bekasi, West Java and the Al Kahfi Foundation Orphanage in Jakarta.

The donations are also distributed in several other cities such as Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Jakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Sumedang, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Pontianak and Makassar.

“Huawei hopes to make greater contributions to the equitable distribution of education and digital talent development that will bring broad benefits to all Indonesian young generations in preparing for a better future towards a Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Rosidi .
