TIME.CO, Jakarta – Zoom in has launched Production Studio functionality for Zoom events and Zoom sessions. This feature will allow professionals to create virtual event design elements for webinars and sessions without requiring any production.
The video conferencing platform claims that functionality Production studio available globally. This is said to save time and budget that would normally be spent interacting with production agents.
“Now, every event professional has access to professional-looking events in an easy-to-use interface, without spending thousands of dollars on a production agency,” said Annika Elias, Zoom Product Manager, as quoted by Gadgets now.
“Other ‘off the shelf’ webinar solutions don’t allow you to customize the look and feel of your event, resulting in a bland and less engaging experience. With Production Studio, event specialists can organize and personalize attendee experiences without the need for special design skills,” added Elias.
Zoom says Production Studio offers dynamic layout options. Hosts can choose from over 50 custom layouts with flexible aspect ratios and get custom branding.
Organizers can also create multiple webinar scenes per session with the option of a split screen layout with a custom background for each scene. It also offers cloud recording capabilities and direct live streaming to third parties.

Zoom says existing webinar subscribers will be able to access all Production Studio features via the web portal by upgrading to a Zoom Sessions or Zoom Events license in the coming months.
Update on the mobile application
Zoom also announced that it has updated its mobile app for iPhone and Android. Apps now offer access to Zoom Events enabling meeting experiences on the go.
“Through the Zoom mobile app, attendees can attend events, explore, add bookmarks, join sessions, receive notifications of important events, navigate physical spaces using maps and digital assistance, easily switch between in-person and virtual sessions/ on-demand and connect with attendees, face-to-face and virtual others,” the company said.
