Jakarta (MidLand) – YouTube Music makes searching easy with song recognition, from playing to singing to humming the song you want to search for.
Phone Arena reported Monday that YouTube used artificial intelligence to match the sound to the original recording. This feature works similarly to how it works hums to search on Google Search.
To use YouTube Music’s new search feature, users must first tap the search icon in the top right corner. Additionally, there is a dedicated button with the same icon design as YouTube’s song search feature placed next to the voice search option for quicker access.

In the main YouTube app, the song search function is currently also available on Android. And to use it, just start the search and tap the “Songs” tab, not “Sounds.”
Unlike YouTube, some YouTube Music users on iOS also have similar functionality, which means this feature is not exclusive to Android.
Even though YouTube and YouTube Music come from Google, they have different functions. YouTube is a platform for finding all kinds of videos, including music videos, movies, tutorials, vlogs, etc. Meanwhile, YouTube Music is only for streaming music and podcasts.
