1. Megawati appointed Ganjar and Ahok as administrators of PDI Perjuangan DPP
PDI-P DPP General President Megawati Soekarnoputri appointed Ganjar Pranowo as DPP Chairman for Regional Governance and Autonomy and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok as DPP Chairman for Economic Affairs.

2. Testi Puan Nadiem Makarim-Pramono Anung runs for DKI Jakarta regional elections
DPP PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Chairman Puan Maharani has eyed the names of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Minister Nadiem Makarim and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung to run in the 2024 DKI Jakarta regional elections.
Puan said this after mentioning that the party bearing the symbol of the white-faced bull had also included the names of Indonesia’s Advanced Cabinet ministers in the Pilkada exchange in Jakarta.

3. The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs ensures that the government strengthens the PDN security system
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto said the government will strengthen and improve security capabilities at the National Data Center (PDN).
This security enhancement is intended to make the PDN a powerful data center that cannot be breached, as pioneered by the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) 2.

4. PKS Secretary General clarified the issue of Jokowi’s offer of Kaesang to several political parties
Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Secretary General Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi has clarified his statement that Indonesian President Jokowi had offered his son, Kaesang Pangarep, to several political parties (parpol) to run for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
This statement, he said, was made in response to journalists’ questions. For this reason, this statement is not a personal initiative or that of a party official.
“My statement regarding the Pilkada in Jakarta, which has recently filled the public space. It is important for me to respond,” Aboe Bakar said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Friday (7/5).

5. Kaesang is grateful to be on PDIP’s radar for Central Java gubernatorial candidate market
Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Chairman-General Kaesang Pangarep said he was grateful that his name was on the radar of PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) as a potential candidate for governor of Central Java in the 2024 concurrent regional elections (Pilkada).
However, he admits that he has not yet decided on his steps in the 2024 regional elections. He said that there will be a surprise in August 2024, which is the time of registration of the regional elections.
