Jakarta (MidLand) – Xiaomi will reportedly feature a satellite communication function on the MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip foldable phones, which are expected to be marketed only in China
Satellite communication technology in smartphones allows users to connect to connectivity even if a cellular network is not found. The two devices will subsequently ship with the model number, namely 2405AVPB7C for MIX Flip, while the MIX FOLD 4 is confirmed to have the model number 24076PX3BC, as reported on the Gizmochina page on Friday (5/31).

Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip, when they were launched, were not the only phones equipped with satellite communication capabilities. After the launch of the iPhone 14 in 2022, more and more brands are launching phones with satellite communication technology.
Coming to the specifications, it is certain that the MIX Flip is a folding mobile phone model that adopts Xiaomi’s Flip display, a horizontal fold, for the first time. The device will hopefully come with a 1.5K resolution screen.
Both the MIX Flip and MIX Fold 4 are expected to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a 50MP main camera and use a 0vx8000 sensor.
MIX Flip will have a dual camera setup, one of which is a 60MP telephoto camera using an OV60A sensor. Meanwhile, the MIX Fold 4 has a triple camera setup, including two ultrawide 13MP and 10MP telephoto lens.
Both devices are expected to launch in early July this year.
