Jakarta (MidLand) – WhatsApp is reportedly trying out a feature that seems to be popular among users who like to share status, namely extending the length of videos that can be uploaded to the status.
In WhatsApp beta 2.24.7.6 it is known that WhatsApp has increased the duration of videos for statuses from 30 seconds to 60 seconds or one minute.

Reported by Phone Arena, Wednesday (20/3), this feature has been tested by several registered users so that they can provide input to the application developer if any shortcomings or bugs are found.
This news was first revealed by WABetaInfo, who said that the video duration extension feature for this status can only be tested by beta users on Android.

Although this is clearly not a fundamental feature of the service of the platform developed by Meta, the presence of this information is interesting for users because quite a few have asked for an extension of the duration of WhatsApp status videos.
Like all beta features, it’s hard to say whether or not it will make it to the stable version of WhatsApp.
