Jakarta (MidLand) – The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) of the Republic of Indonesia has launched a special application that facilitates public access to information related to social assistance (bansos).
This application aims to ensure that social assistance is distributed appropriately and allows recipients and potential recipients to easily check the status and receive important notifications related to social assistance.

Below is an explanation of the application of the Social Assistance Allowance, including the definition, main features and benefits it offers to make it easier for people to access social assistance more efficiently.
Definition of Social Security Application
The Cek Bansos application is a digital platform designed by the Ministry of Social Affairs to help the public control and access information related to social assistance.
Through this application, users can find out if their name is registered as a recipient of assistance, the type of assistance available, as well as the process and conditions for requesting or receiving such assistance.
The main objective is to facilitate access to more accurate and targeted information on the distribution of social assistance.
The main features of the Bansos control application
1. Propose and oppose
The Ministry of Social Affairs, through the Cek Bansos Application, has added a new feature called “Proposal” and “Refutation”.
The “Proposal” function is designed to allow users to submit proposals so that they, their families or other individuals who meet the requirements can be included in the Integrated Social Insurance List (DTKS) and receive social assistance.
Meanwhile, the “refutation” function addresses data issues, such as discrepancies in the distribution of aid, i.e. people who are eligible but do not receive aid and people who are not eligible but still receive aid.
2. Social welfare recipients check (Social assistance)
The main feature of this application is that users can use this application to check the list of beneficiaries (PM) of social welfare in certain administrative areas.
In this way, the community and the authorities can ensure that the aid distributed to potential recipients actually meets the requirements.
