Visitors to Pasir Putih Situbondo reached 3,812 people in three days
During these three days, to be precise from the second day of Eid (H2) to H+2 of today’s Eid, local and foreign tourists visiting reached 3,812 people.
Situbondo (MidLand) – The Directorate of Marine Tourism of Pasir Putih, Situbondo Regency, East Java, recorded that the number of beach tourism visitors of Pasir Putih reached 3,812 tourists during the long Eid 2024 holiday from Thursday (11/ 4) to Saturday (13/4).
Situbondo White Sands Marine Tourism Manager Ru’aidi in Situbondo on Saturday said the natural tourist attraction with white sand and located on the northern coast of Bungatan district is still the choice of holidaymakers during Eid holidays .
“During these three days, to be precise, from the second day of Eid (H2) to H+2 of Eid today, local and foreign tourists visiting reached 3,812 people,” he said.
On the second day of Eid, Ru’aidi continued, tourist visits to Pasir Putih were recorded with 1,254 people and on D+1 1,204 visitors, while on this day (D+2) they increased to 1,354 people.
According to him, in addition to local tourists, most visitors holidaying in Pasir Putih tourist attraction also come from outside the region, such as from Probolinggo, Jember, Bondowoso and also from Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Malang.
“There are also visitors who are simply in transit, returning home or returning for Eid, crossing the Situbondo coastal road,” Ru’aidi said.
He said the number of tourist visits to Pasir Putih is expected to continue to increase on Sunday (4/14) and Monday (4/15).
“Tomorrow, Sunday, we are optimistic that visitors will increase, including Monday, because on Tuesday (4/16) schools will start and offices will also start operating,” Ru’aidi said.
Situbondo White Sands Marine Tourism is still a destination for local and foreign tourists. In addition to its location right on the Pantura route connecting Java-Bali, this beach tourism has become people’s choice because the waves on this beach are calm and safe for children to swim or play canoeing.
