Various ways to take iPhone screenshot easily

Jakarta (MidLand) – The iPhone provides a screenshot function to help capture various objects appearing on the screen.

The iPhone screenshot feature is useful for documenting information or images that appear on the screen to use for reference or to capture the moment.

Taking screenshots on iPhone is very simple and offers many variations from using physical buttons to no buttons at all. However, the iPhone screenshot method is not the same in different series. Here are several ways to screenshot on iPhone:

1. Screenshot with physical Touch ID and Power Home buttons

For those of you who have an iPhone 8 series and earlier with Touch ID, you can take a screenshot of your iPhone using the Touch ID Home button and Power button on the side, here’s how:

  • Select the screen you want to screenshot
  • Press the side Power button and Touch ID Home button at the same time and release them for a moment
  • If you hear a “clack” and the iPhone screen flashes, the screenshot was taken successfully
  • Click the screenshot in the bottom left corner, select Done, select Save to Photos
  • The screenshot results will be saved to your gallery or photo folder.

2. Screenshot with volume and power buttons

For those of you who have iPhone 14 series and other series with Face ID that no longer have the Home button under the screen, you can take a screenshot of your iPhone using the volume UP button and the Power button, here’s how:

  • Select the screen you want to take a screenshot of
  • Press the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time and release them for a moment
  • If you hear a “clack” and the iPhone screen flashes, the screenshot was taken successfully
  • Click the screenshot in the bottom left corner, select Done, select Save to Photos
  • Check the screenshot results by opening the photo gallery or folder on your iPhone.

3. Screenshot without physical buttons with Assistive Touch

You can take iPhone screenshots without physical buttons, using the Assistive Touch feature, here’s how:

  • Open the Settings menu
  • Select the “Accessibility” option.
  • Then select “Touch” in the Physics and Motor section
  • Select the “AssistiveTouch” option.
  • Tap once and swipe to activate AssistiveTouch. A round white button will then appear on the screen
  • Once Assistive Touch is enabled, select the screen you want to screenshot
  • Tap the Assistive Touch button, select “Device,” then “More”
  • The “Screenshot” option will appear, so tap on it
  • Select the screen you want to screenshot
  • If you hear a “clack” and the iPhone screen flashes, the screenshot was taken successfully
  • Click the screenshot in the bottom left corner, select Done, select Save to Photos
  • The screenshot results will be saved to your gallery or Photos folder.

4. Screenshot by tapping the back

You can also take a screenshot of your iPhone by tapping the back two or three times with the help of Accessibility in iOS 14 or later, here’s how:

  • Make sure your iPhone has the latest version of iOS 14 on iPhone 8 or later
  • Open the Settings menu
  • Select the “Accessibility” option.
  • Then select “Touch” in the Physics and Motor section
  • Select the “Tap Back” or Tap Back option
  • Select the Double Tap or Triple Tap option
  • Then select “Screenshoot”
  • Now you can use iPhone screenshots by tapping on the back
  • Select the screen you want to take a screenshot of, then tap the back
  • If you hear a “clack” and the iPhone screen flashes, the screenshot was taken successfully
  • The screenshot results will be saved to your gallery or Photos folder.
