These buttons can later be customized to suit different actions. The Action button is customizable, users can enable or disable silent mode.
The Action button can work to launch the camera, change flashlight functions, switch between light and dark modes, activate Low Power mode, take screenshots or screen recordings, use Shazam and shortcuts.
Standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus users won’t be able to experience this feature, but they will still have the classic mute button like on previous iPhone series. The physical action button has been one of the iPhone’s most iconic features since its debut in 2007.
