Tuition fees open 2023 for levels D3, D4 and S1
TIME.CO, Jakarta – Open University (UT) is a state university (PTN) with an open, face-to-face or distance learning system. The learning process at the university founded on September 4, 1984 uses media, both paper and electronic. While open means that there are no limits on age, enrollment time, year of graduation, period of study and frequency of exams taken by students.
Reporting from ut.ac.id, entry fee charged to UT students consist of tuition and other academic service fees. The amount of the tuition fees depends on the chosen service scheme, i.e. the six-month package system (Sipas) or the six-month credit unit system or SKS (Non-Sipas).
The Sipas service scheme is divided into Sipas Non TTM (Tutorial Face to Face), Semi Sipas, Full Sipas, Sipas Plus and Sipas Online. The description of each Sipas service is as follows.
– Non-TTM Sipas, including support services for successful distance learning or LPBKJJ (New Student Study Orientation or OSMB and Distance Learning Skills Training or PKBJJ), academic administration, printed and digital course materials, temporary transcripts, online tutorials (Tuton), practice/practice for all package courses, Final Semester Exams (UAS), Scientific Work, Final Program Assignments (TAP) and Diploma Taking.
– Sipas Semi, including LPBKJJ (OSMB and PKBJJ), Academic Administration, Hard and Digital Course Materials, Temp Transcripts, TTM Required Maximum of 3 Subjects, Practice/Practice, Tuton, UAS, Scientific Work, TAP, Graduation and Graduation diploma .
– Comprehensive Sipas, covering LPBKJJ (OSMB & PKBJJ), Academic Administration, Printed and Digital Course Materials, Interim Transcripts, Mandatory TTM for all Courses, Practice/Practice, Tuton, UAS, Scientific Work, TAP, Graduation & Diploma Attainment .
– Sipas Plus, including LPBKJJ (OSMB and PKBJJ), Academic Administration, Printed and Digital Course Materials, Temporary Transcripts, Mandatory TTM for all Courses, Practice/Practice, Tuton, UAS, Scientific Work, TAP, Graduation, Self-Development Training, and taking the certificate.
– Non-Sipas, academic and administrative services provided to students enrolling in courses for credits.
The minimum number of participants in the Full Sipas, Sipas Plus and Sipas Semi courses is 25 students per class. Sipas Plus is intended only for recipients of Smart Indonesia Cards or KIP Lessons and Collaborations. Especially for Sipas students of foreign services there is an additional cost for sending the teaching material.
Meanwhile, details of Academic Administrative Services fees at UT include:
– Registration fee for new students: IDR 100,000.
– Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) Proposal Fee: IDR 300,000.
– Replacement of student card: IDR 50,000.
– Educational material (Non Sipas) according to the price per book.
– Tutorial in attendance upon request (TTM Atpem): IDR 150,000 per course.
– Graduation Fee: IDR 750,000.
– Cost of issuing copies and legalizing diplomas and transcripts: IDR 50,000 per set (10 sheets).
– Expenses for translation of diplomas and transcripts: IDR 150,000 per unit and IDR 250,000 per package.
