Analysis portal Webometrics publishes a real-time ranking of the best universities in the world. Overall, over 31,000 public and private tertiary entities were also surveyed. Meanwhile in Indonesia there are 3,381 campuses which are evaluated on certain indicators.
To determine the best campus, Webometrics uses three indicators, namely 50% visibility impact, 10% transparency/openness, and 40% excellence/scholar. The top 20 campuses in East Java, according to Webometrics for the July 2023 edition, are as follows.
