Tokopedia provides an online taxation feature for underpaid SPTs

Jakarta (MidLand) – Trading platform on line Tokopedia reminds them to provide an online tax function for non-payment of Annual Gift Letters (SPT), before the final SPT reporting deadline of March 31.

The Online Tax function is a synergy between Tokopedia and the General Directorate of Taxes, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, according to Tokopedia’s press release received in Jakarta on Thursday. Through this feature, people can pay various types of taxes, including income tax (PPh 21, PPh 22, PPh 23, PPh 24, PPh 25 and PPh 29).

“Transactions via the Online Tax function contribute more than 70% of the total transactions via the State Revenue Module (MPN) on Tokopedia. Digitalization of public services is very important to further improve the quality and transparency of public services in Indonesia. “Tokopedia will continue to strive to collaborate and innovate with strategic partners, especially the government, to make it easier for people to access public services to meet their tax obligations,” said Astri Wahyuni, Director of Public Policy and Tokopedia government reports.
