TikTok-Tokopedia collaboration expands homegrown brand’s consumer reach

This festival features a wide selection of products needed from Ramadan to Eid, including fashion, beauty and more, from a range of well-known local economic players, especially MSMEs.

According to Alexander Setiawan, owner of Little Palmerhaus, technology platforms such as Tokopedia and Shop | Tokopedia on the TikTok app really helps Little Palmerhaus products become more inclusive or accessible to anyone.
“Parents from Sabang to Merauke can reach our products more easily through the technology platform,” Alexander said in an official statement from Tokopedia’s press release on Friday.

“We initially only focused on selling through our website, but seeing the development of the industry, we decided to join hands with Tokopedia and Shop | Tokopedia on the TikTok app.”

Linda Anggreaningsih, founder of Benang Jarum and Buttonscarves, said Benang Jarum has 24 outlets disconnected and empower local tailors and employees who are predominantly women.
