This was explained recently by TPN Ganjar-Mahfud’s deputy politician 5.0, Andi Widjajanto, at a press conference on Ganjar-Mahfud’s vision and mission for the 2024 presidential elections, at the TPN Ganjar President Media Center, Menteng, Central of Jakarta.

Andi explained that the first point of MD Ganjar-Mahfud’s vision and mission in science and technology is to increase investment in research and innovation in leading industries.

“For example, increasing the budget for research and innovation (gross domestic expenditure on research and development) to 1% of GDP in 2029,” Andi said.

“Then, encouraging synergy between public and private funding through efficient budget caps and simplifying rules on philanthropic funding, as well as tax incentives or subsidies for the private sector,” he continued.

Hence, MD Ganjar-Mahfud’s next vision and mission in building a research and innovation ecosystem is to optimize the use of national research and innovation results for policy formulation and industrialization.

Meanwhile, to take a leap towards the advancement of science and technology, Ganjar and Mahfud MD have a vision and mission for the GP Project in the form of a productive quarantine that brings together scientists and technicians to produce and master technology useful to many people.

“Starting from simple and cheap technology, to high technology that can be a game changer for Indonesia in the future,” Andi said.

So, the final point is Doctor Ganjar-Mahfud’s vision and mission in the field of science and technology, which is to provide massive and targeted scholarships.

“Scholarships will be increased and expanded for young Indonesians who are ready to respond to Indonesia’s future challenges in line with the development strategy towards a golden Indonesia 2045,” he said.
