JAKARTA – Google will launch a smartphone Pixel 8 Soon. It is reported that the launch event will take place tomorrow on October 4, 2023.

For those of you who want to watch the launch session, Google is providing live streaming on the Google YouTube channel starting at 10am local time. The event can be viewed for free.

Unfortunately, not much has been officially revealed by Google regarding the specifications of the new device. However, several leaks describe some of its features.

It is said that Google Pixel 8 will be equipped with a body temperature sensor. As you can see from the 360-degree simulator, the Pro model will launch with a small yellow dot indicating a special sensor.

FYI, the Pixel 8 Pro will reportedly be available in blue, porcelain, and black, as well as a similar home screen to the previous Pixel 7 Pro. The device will also have a SIM slot.

It is also said to have a flat screen, not a curved one like the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 8 Pro’s camera lineup includes an upgraded 50MP main camera and a 64MP Sony ultrawide camera.

Meanwhile, the battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and a maximum charging speed of 27W. Additionally, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are said to be the first phones to run Android 14.
