This is a list of Samsung devices that are no longer receiving software updates: Okezone techno
JAKARTA – Samsung will make a software update later this year. Thus there are a number of devices that will not receive the update.
As is typical for smartphone makers, Samsung offers software updates for up to five years, while flagship devices receive a maximum of three updates. However, in 2022, Samsung changed the policy.
There are at least 12 Samsung devices that are no longer receiving software updates. So what devices are there? Here is the full list:
-Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e
– Galay X Cover 4S
-Galaxy A80
-Galaxy A40
-Galaxy A10
-Galaxy A30
-Galaxy A50
-Galaxy Tab A10.1 (2019)
-Galaxy Tab S5e
-Galaxy Tab S6
Additionally, even if you don’t receive a software update for users whose devices are listed above, Samsung usually releases additional updates in the form of adding a security system.
For example, Galaxy S10 series devices have passed their fourth year and, according to the company’s previous policy, will no longer receive new updates after the March 2023 security update.
There have also been cases of unexpected new updates on some US carriers, such as Verizon, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and US Cellular. Furthermore, once official software support ended, Samsung surprisingly released a new update for Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e.
