They will dialogue with Jokowi, 500 Papuan students will receive special guidance from Yohanes Surya

TIME.CO, Jakarta – Biak Numfor Education and Culture Service of the Regency Papua prepare 500 elementary and middle school students, who are good at fast calculations, to have a dialogue with President Joko Widodo during the 2023 Cenderawasih Bay Sail. The head of Biak’s educational and cultural service, Numfor Kamaruddin, said that before having a dialogue with Jokowi, the students would receive guidance.

Kamaruddin said the 500 students who were smart at calculating quickly were the product of training the best method. They come from all the schools of Biak Numfor regency.

“The Biak Numfor Education Service, in cooperation with the institution supported by Prof. Yohanes Surya, continues to develop the method of learning to quickly count the maximums in all schools,” said the former head of the Social Welfare Division of the Biak Regional Secretariat.

Kamaruddin expressed his gratitude to Prof. Yohanes Surya for providing direct guidance to hundreds of elementary and middle school students in Biak using the speed counting method.

Learning the speed counting method, Kamaruddin continued, has so far had a positive impact on elementary and middle school students, so much so that they are good at counting quickly.

“The Biak Smart Rapid Counting Program is an implementation of Regent Herry Ario Naap’s vision and mission to create a religious Biak with character and culture,” hoped Education Officer, Kamaruddin.

In addition to elementary and middle school students, hundreds of teachers who conducted outreach activities in elementary schools in various villages also participated in the high-speed counting program in Biak Numfor Regency.
