Jakarta (MidLand) – Vice President (Wapres), Ma’ruf Amin, serves as the preacher and imam of Friday congregational prayers at the Baiturrahman Mosque of the Vice Presidential Secretariat, Jakarta, on Friday, ahead of his retirement on October 20.
In his sermon, the Vice President highlighted the guidance given by Allah SWT to humanity. “Every day we at least read Al Fatihah 17 times in every rak’ah of prayer we do, between the verses of Surat Fatihah at the end, i.e. ihdinas ratal mustaqim, ihdinas ratal mustaqim, “Give us guidance to be on the right path,” the Vice President said.

However, the Vice President continued, the guidance referred to was not guidance or divine guidance.
“The guidance here is not in understanding hidayatul dilalahinstructions. “It was given by Allah SWT to all human beings, there are only those who accept it, those who believe and there are those who do not believe,” the Vice President said.
Indeed, the Vice President said, the guidance he hopes for is Hidayatul Maunah or drive for help.
“What we are actually asking here is for the ulama to say this Hidayatul Maunahguidance, help and guidance taufiqiyah, taufiqiyah This means adapting what we do to Allah’s guidance, what we perceive is in accordance with what Allah SWT must perceive. “What is our lifestyle in accordance with the lifestyle taught by Allah SWT,” the Vice President said.

Therefore, the Vice President hopes that we will always ask to be on the right path.
“We may have faith, but we haven’t gotten guidance taufiqiyah, “What we do is not in accordance with the guidance of Allah SWT, our way of thinking is not appropriate or our pattern of thinking is not appropriate,” the Vice President said.
