Sukabumi, West Java (MidLand) – The Government of Sukabumi Regency continues to encourage UNESCO Global Geopark Ciletuh Palabuhanratu (UGGCP) to become a world-class natural tourism destination, one of which is to organize various mass activities such as promotional events.
“We have prepared various programs and promotions for the UGGCP to world-class tourism destinations such as mass sports activities, cultural parades and so on,” Sukabumi Regent Marwan Hamami said in Sukabumi on Wednesday.
According to Marwan, this activity is a form of promotion for his party to increase visitation and showcase various tourist destinations both nationally and internationally.
Apart from this, by carrying out mass activities it will certainly be easier to raise awareness of the different potentials that exist in the UGCCP, starting from tourist attractions, culinary delights, culture, customs, art and so on.

One of the activities that will be carried out en masse in the near future is the Geopark Ciletuh Run 2024 which will be held next May. This activity is open to the public and anyone can take part.
Participants will not only be limited to sports, but will be able to enjoy the natural panorama in Ciletuh Geopark, Ciemas District, and then will be served various cultural and artistic entertainment, as well as culinary delights typical of Sukabumi Regency.
“We invite all Indonesian citizens and foreign tourists to take part in the Geopark Ciletuh Run 2024 which will be held at Ciletuh Geopark in May 2024,” he said.
