Sahal earned a doctorate from the ITS DTE doctoral program with brilliant academic results, i.e. with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.93. Followed by his son who successfully completed his undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.46. While they both achieved very satisfactory grades, Sahal revealed that their journey had many obstacles.
During his many years of study, Sahal wore many roles as father, husband and student. In the midst of this busy life, he also carries out teaching responsibilities.
According to Sahal, his double life as a student and educator is a challenge he faces with determination and enthusiasm. In the final stages of his studies with his son, this father of four felt unable to provide full support to Usama.

“Being able to graduate together could actually be called a miracle, because there were a lot of obstacles in different ways,” Sahal said, quoted by the ITS website.
Sahal is also grateful for every prayer and support he received during his studies. In the future he hopes that he and his son will have more ease in their careers, research and studies.
Sahal advised to never stop trying and praying. “Because success does not come alone, but through determination and constant commitment. “Don’t be afraid to face challenges with confidence and fiery enthusiasm,” he said.
