Makassar (MidLand) – The head of the High Prosecutorial Office of South Sulawesi Province, Agus Salim, said that coordination is needed in the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government’s Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) and the police apparatus (APH) regarding the management of reports or complaints regarding the administration of the Regional Council.

“The essence of this memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of the Interior, the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office is to provide detailed and targeted guidelines regarding the coordination of the APIP and the APH in the management of reports or complaints regarding the administration of the regional government,” Agus explained during a press conference. coordination meeting in Makassar, Wednesday.

The coordination meeting, he said, was held to implement the provisions of Article 6 letter b of Law Number 19 of 2019 regarding the Second Amendment to Law Number 30 of 2002 regarding the Corruption Eradication Commission or KPK.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Attorney General, the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police, he said, is a form of effort to strengthen commitment regarding the need and importance of building cooperative relations.

“This includes cross-sectoral synergy between existing ministries or institutions based on the determination and spirit of mutually supporting, mutually strengthening, complementing and complementing each other,” he stressed.

He explained that this is in accordance with the duties and functions inherent in law enforcement to ensure that the general principles of good governance and the success of development programs are realized, which is a shared hope and responsibility.

Agus said that synergy, coordination and collaboration are the key words in fulfilling the tasks and functions of each party in handling reports or complaints in the regional government administration.

“The main objective is to ensure legal certainty in the rapid and measurable resolution of reports or complaints,” he stressed.

The coordination meeting was attended by Senior Associate Prosecutor at the Surma Deputy Prosecutor General for Special Crimes, Junior Senior Prosecutor at the Legal and Foreign Relations Office Sri Muntari Rustianingrum, Aspidsus from the West Sulawesi Prosecutor’s Office Nur , the special inspector at the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Teguh Narutomo.

PPUPD Principal Expert of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kusna Heriman, Kabagluhkum Rokermaluhkum Divkum Polri Juliat Permadi Wibowo, Director of Coordination and Supervision for Region II of the Commission for the Elimination of Corruption Imam Turmudi, and all section heads and functional prosecutors in the special criminal sector section of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor’s Office.
