“Investigators have arrested brother YA in connection with the death of sister Tamara Tyasmara’s son,” Polda Metro public relations head Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi said in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday.
Dante is believed to have died from drowning in the swimming pool in Palem, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on Saturday (27/1).
Ade explained that the arrest of the YA suspect was carried out at his residence in the Pondok Kelapa area.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya, on Thursday (8/2) conducted a case to determine the suspect in the death of Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo or Dante (6).
“Today we are discussing a case to determine the suspect,” said the head of the Crime and Violence Sub-Directorate (Kasubdit Jatanras) of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Ditreskrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Rovan Richard Mahenu when he was confirmed in Jakarta.
The case took place after the party received medical forensic results relating to the exhumation or excavation of the victim’s grave and digital forensic results in the form of surveillance camera (CCTV) recordings.
This was reported by the Director General of Criminal Investigations (Dirreskrimum), Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra, after his party headlined the case on Tuesday (6/2).
“We conclude that an alleged criminal incident has been discovered, so the investigation team has agreed to elevate the status from investigation to investigation,” he said Wednesday (7/2) meeting in Jakarta.
