The PANRB Ministry said that the evaluation of the SPBE index was carried out by an independent team

Jakarta (MidLand) – Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said that the Electronics-Based Government System Index (SPBE) rating, which will be announced on Monday morning (5/27), will be carried out by an independent team.

“The numbers for each ministry/institution of the Electronically Based Government System Index will be announced. “The evaluation involves an independent team, as well as an independent evaluation related to the SPBE index,” Anas explained on Sunday at the Office of the Ministry of PANRB, Jakarta.

Anas added that the announcement of the SPBEI index will be made at the 2024 SPBE Summit at the State Palace, Jakarta, and in the presence of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

On the same occasion, Deputy for Institutional and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of PANRB, Nanik Murwati, explained that the evaluation of the SPBE index was carried out objectively and in phases.

“We do this in phases, starting from the independent evaluation phase by each ministry/institution and regional government, then continuing with the evaluation by the evaluators of 30 universities who collaborate with us. “So the hope is to produce an evaluation objective and professional,” he said.

He further explained that the evaluation process was continued until finalized by the SPBE national coordination group, so it was not limited to the PANRB Ministry.

Meanwhile, he said the evaluation of the SPBE index was carried out by his party as part of a strategy to monitor and evaluate the SPBE in the country.

“We can continue to encourage the maturity of our SPBE index to be better, so that it can be equal to that of the above-mentioned countries, as the Minister said, that the ten countries of the Top 10 EGDI (E-Government Development Index) turns out the level of effectiveness is much better,” he said.

The EGDI is the result of a biennial United Nations (UN) survey. Based on the 2022 survey, Indonesia is ranked 77th, which is up eleven places from the 2020 survey.
