The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy launches IndoBisa 2024 – ANTARA News
Jakarta (MidLand) – The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) has launched a program Matchmaking for entrepreneurial startups in Indonesia or IndoBisa 2024 to support the development of start-ups in the tourism and creative economy sectors.
IndoBisa 2024 is a platform provided to connect local startups with investors, mentors and related stakeholders in the business ecosystem.
“We hope that IndoBisa can give birth to boot a sustainable business,” said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Agency for Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Shalahudin Uno, quoted in the Ministry’s press release in Jakarta on Friday.
IndoBisa focuses on start-ups in the tourism and creative economy sectors, including games, apps, design and art, and media and entertainment businesses, which need funding and an ecosystem to grow and develop into sustainable businesses.
This was stated by the deputy for Industry and Investment at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Rizki Handayani Open call IndoBisa 2024 will be held online in collaboration with the start-up community in Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surakarta, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Bali.
After the registration process, 100 participants will be selected and re-selected to become the top 30 participants.
“The best 30 will take part in the training Fundraising Bootcamp for three days in a hybrid way,” Rizki said.
The IndoBisa 2024 series of activities also includes fundraising, mentoring programs and networking sessions with investors.
Director of Access to Finance at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, explained that start-ups in the tourism and creative economy sectors requiring capital injections can use this platform to meet with investors.
“After to boot by meeting venture capital, we want to build an ecosystem to boot sustainable through matchmaking, thematic networksAND fast network which we hope to be able to do in 2024,” Hayun said.
