The Minister of Communication and Information appreciates LaDeWa for improving public services in Bima City
Jakarta (MidLand) – Minister of Communications and Information Technology Budi Arie Setiadi welcomed the launch of the LaDeWa (Lapor Dae Wali) platform by the government of Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara, as an effort to improve public services in the city.
“The LaDeWa platform is an example of the Bima City Government’s initiative to receive public reports in a transparent, optimal, participatory and obviously targeted manner to authorized recipient agencies,” Budi Arie said in a press release, Saturday.
He said this on Friday (5/17) at the virtual launch of the LaDeWa platform by the Central Office of Communications and Information of the Ministry of Communication and Information in Jakarta.

Budi Arie said the integration of digital technology into government services is a form of innovation that makes things easier for society. According to him, the use of digital technology must be balanced with changes in the government’s mindset.
Budi Arie said LaDeWa could facilitate community aspirations and complaints to the Bima city government.
“We should also use this momentum to improve the mindset and quality of public services that are adaptive, accessible and innovative,” he said.
The LaDeWa platform is the development of a One Stop Reporting System that the public can access in real time. Reports from the public will be responded to and followed up by the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) within the Bima City Government.
With existing features, the public can monitor the progress of the management of submitted reports. You can also see the city government’s overall response in an infographic report.
Budi Arie hopes LaDeWa’s presence isn’t just a high-tech app. However, it is a communication forum between the community and the government to find solutions to various reported problems.
“With the ease of communication between citizens and the government, I am sure that the quality of public services and community participation in development will continue to increase,” he said.
