In response to the delayed launch of “Black Myth Wukong,” Microsoft released an official statement but was reluctant to respond to reports regarding the game’s exclusivity for certain consoles.

“We can’t comment on deals our partners make with other platform owners, but we remain focused on making Xbox the best platform for gamers, with great games at its core,” he added.
Previously, at The Game Awards 2023 which took place on December 7, 2023, developer Game Science announced the launch of “Black Myth Wukong” for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC consoles on August 20, 2024 .
However, earlier this month at Summer Game Fest, the trailer shown during the event made no mention of the game’s launch for Xbox Series
Game Science has confirmed that “Black Myth: Wukong” will launch on Xbox Series
“We are currently optimizing the Xbox Series X/S version to meet our quality standards, so it will not be released at the same time as other platforms,” Game Science said.
“We apologize for the delay and are trying to minimize wait times for Xbox users. We will announce the release date as soon as it meets our quality standards,” he said.
