The iOS 17.2 developer beta has been released, here are its features

1. Journal app update
The Journal app, announced as part of iOS 17, is now available in iOS 17.2. With the Journal application, users can record daily activities and ideas. Apple provides optional suggestions that can be used for inspiration. Additionally, journal entries can include images, audio recordings, and location tags.
2. Collaborative playlists on Apple Music
Apple Music users can now create playlists that other authorized people can add songs to. Additionally, Apple Music now creates a “Favorites” playlist with all songs marked as favorites. Additionally, users can use Focus Filter to disable the Listening History feature.
2. Give sticker reactions to messages faster
Users can now add sticky replies to any chat by pressing them for a few moments. To add a sticker, tap “Add Sticker” and select a sticker or emoji to apply to the corner of iMessage.
4. Translate using the action button
Apple has introduced a new action button option on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which allows users to use the Translate option. This feature uses the language that the user has prepared in the Translate application.

5. Check your iMessage contact key
The iOS 17.2 update brings iMessage contact blocking verification designed for “high-risk” individuals. This prevents unauthorized access to conversations and verifies identity using a contact verification code during face-to-face meetings or FaceTime calls.
6. New weather widgets and digital clock
A new weather widget has been added with more information. This widget includes Details, Daily Forecast and Sunrise/Sunset. Additionally, you can add a new Digital Clock widget to your home screen or lock screen.
7. AirPlay receiver
The iOS 17.2 update adds an “AirPlay Receiver” setting that allows users to stream or share content from the Vision Pro headphones to their iPhone. This feature could potentially pave the way for AirPlay, allowing users to play content from their iPhone or iPad on any AirPlay-enabled smart TV. This will be very useful when the user is in a hotel room.
8. Other new features in iOS 17.2
Apple added a “Body” section for customizing Memoji, a “Quick Fade” option for the Books app, and rainbow-colored text for usernames in the contacts poster. The new “Local Awareness” option for emergency alert needs now uses the user’s location. Separate tabs for movies and TV shows have been removed from the Apple TV app. Finally, the News application now supports live activities.
