The general secretary of the NasDem reminds AMIN volunteers abroad to man the polling stations

Jakarta (MidLand) – General Secretary (Sekjen) of the NasDem party, Hermawi Taslim, reminded Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) volunteers abroad to guard polling stations (TPS) and prepare witnesses.

“The main thing that needs to be ensured is that all polling stations in the United Kingdom (England) have witnesses and send reports of voting results to the main office,” he said in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Taslim was present and spoke with four nodes of Anies volunteers active in the London area. The four nodes include Anies Baswedan Center (ABC), Anies Guard Alliance Network (JAGA), Sobat Anies International (SAI) and Friends of Anies Abroad (SALN).

According to Taslim, people are now intelligent, they can no longer be scared or deceived, now is the most appropriate electoral impetus for the Indonesian people, to change the direction of national development, in order to realize social justice for all Indonesian people.

Previously, Taslim had also held a series of meetings with the Indonesian diaspora, in particular with students living in the Birmingham, Coventri and Warwick areas.

During the meeting with the volunteers, Hermawi received a series of questions about the shadow of fraud that haunted the volunteers. They expressed their concern over reports spreading across the country that some parties that were supposed to be neutral had played a game to win certain pairs of candidates in these elections.

On Monday, November 13, 2023, the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) determined that three potential pairs of presidential and vice-presidential candidates will participate in the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential elections (Pilpres).

The results of the drawing and determination of serial numbers for participants in the 2024 presidential elections on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 were the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka serial number 2 and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set an election period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting calendar is February 14, 2024.
