The figure of Hadi Priyono, air force pilot, best graduate of the Unair doctorate who wants to become a lecturer
TIME.CO, Jakarta – Airlangga University (unair) held a graduation procession for Term 233 on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC), MERR-C Campus. One of the graduates is Hadi Priyono who holds a PhD. Hadi is an Indonesian Navy pilot.
Hadi had to face various obstacles before finally graduating from Unair. In addition to being a pilot in the Indonesian Navy, he also has to carry out his student activities.
“I am grateful because this milestone is a milestone that is not necessarily a personal milestone. There are prayers for parents, wives and children,” he said on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023 from the Unair website.
He faced various challenges while studying while working. However, he can be surpassed well by Hadi. For example, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, classes had to be taught online at the time and that made things a bit easier.
“The challenge was when I got an assignment from the unit and there was a study assignment. But because learning during Covid-19 was online, so you can study anywhere, you don’t have to be on campus,” she explained.
Priyo added that he has always received support from the Graduate School of Unair for the good progress of his studies. “I got full support from the Head of Study Program (KPS), especially regarding the assignments. So I can still complete the assignment even if I’m on duty,” she said.

Priyo can still play her role persistently. Thanks to his persistence, Priyo was named the best PhD candidate for the 233rd period with a GPA of 3.97. Priyo said the result was a joint result.
“I am grateful that this milestone is a milestone that is not necessarily a personal milestone. There are prayers for parents, wives and children,” he said.
After graduating from his doctorate, Priyo said he would continue his service to the country and become a lecturer. “I will serve the best in my capacity as a public servant. From an academic point of view, there are long-term plans to donate to several private campuses and defense campuses in Indonesia,” he concluded.
