Garut (MidLand) – Cikembulan Animal Park, Garut Regency, West Java, was full of visitors from different areas of West Java to fill the long weekend and Christmas 2023.
“This year the Christmas holidays are busier than last year, because perhaps now they are quite free, there are no restrictions due to Covid,” said the manager of the Cikembulan Wildlife Park, Wili Ariesta, meeting him in the tourist area of Kadungora. District, Garut, Monday.
He said that during the 2023 holiday season, this tourist spot was full of visitors from different regions as early as Saturday (24/12), then during the Christmas holiday, many more visitors came.

The level of tourist attendance, he said, has reached a thousand people, especially the peak on Sunday (24/12). Tourists come from different areas, not only from Garut, but also from Bandung, Jakarta, then neighboring areas such as Tasikmalaya and Sumedang.
“The level of visits began to increase compared to normal days from Saturday, and on Sunday the peak reached one thousand visitors,” he said.
He said Cikembulan Wildlife Park has prepared to welcome the long Christmas and New Year holiday period which is expected to continue to be busy with tourist visits until January 1, 2024.
A series of animal attractions that can entertain and educate visitors are also in preparation, he said, such as wild animal feeding actions, then bird attractions, namely Bird Edutainment activities.
“Kani trains birds to provide entertainment and education to visitors, to introduce types of animals and also to educate about the environment,” Wili said.

He said that the animal collection of Cikembulan Animal Park is quite large, there are 397 animals of 111 species, such as various kinds of snakes, birds, monkeys, deer and even wild animals such as tigers, tigers, lions and so on. ON.
As for the entrance fee, he said, it remained the same as in previous holidays, this time there was no increase during the Christmas and New Year holidays, that is, IDR 30 thousand per person.
“Tickets still cost IDR 30,000, and it is expected that there will be traffic until the new year,” he said.
One of the visitors to West Bandung Regency, Anisa, said she deliberately went to Cikembulan Animal Park to fill the long Christmas holidays, as well as visiting her parents’ house in Garut.
“Yes, I specially came to Cikembulan Animal Park for a holiday with children, and at the same time I went to Garut to my parents’ house,” he said.
