Tesla application update allows users to control cars via iPhone and iPad: Okezone techno
JAKARTA – iPhone and iPad users can now control Tesla cars via the Tesla application version 4.24.0. Apart from that, there will be a number of other interesting features for users to try out.
Reporting from Mashable, Monday (8/21/2023), Tesla has just integrated its application with Apple Shortcut. This way users of Tesla cars can perform various actions via shortcuts on Apple devices.
In total there are 15 shortcuts offered. These shortcuts include the ability to lock and unlock the car, enable or disable driving mode, open and close the charging port, and more.
Once users have set up a shortcut, they can leave it there and access it by speaking to Siri, or add it to the home screen among other options for easier access.
And because shortcuts allow you to chain multiple actions into one, users can create more complex commands for their cars. For example, shortcuts to lock Tesla, close windows and more with a single tap.
Users can also take it a step further by using the Shortcuts app to create automations, which allow shortcuts to be executed when certain conditions are met, such as arriving at a certain location or at a certain time.
To get this feature, users just need to update the Tesla app on iOS to the latest version. For Android users please be patient as the support is not yet available, and it is not yet known whether it will be released for Android as well or not.
