Jakarta (MidLand) – Telecom company Telkomsel shares happiness with people in need during Eid al-Adha 1445 H through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program titled “Continuing Smiles”.
Telkomsel’s sharing activity featured the distribution of 103 cows and 607 sacrificial sheep or goats to 43,000 needy community members in 600 locations across Indonesia.
“Taking this moment as a reminder for all of us to continue to be grateful and share, Telkomsel is here to share the benefits with communities in need across Indonesia, one of which is through the distribution of sacrificial animals. In this moment of ‘Eid al-Adha, Telkomsel is trying to reach more beneficiaries through collaboration with strategic partners to work together to provide and distribute sacrificial animals,’ Telkomsel network director Indra Mardiatna said in Jakarta on Friday.
To distribute the sacrificial animals and reach more beneficiaries, this year the procurement of sacrificial animals was carried out through a series of collaborative actions with strategic partners Telkomsel, the trusted social institution Dompet Dhuafa, the platform connected trade as well as a portfolio of Telkomsel Ventures to boot Evermos, as well as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of local farmers.
Telkomsel also distributes sacrificial animals from its employees’ donations through the Islamic spiritual community, Majlis Telkomsel Taqwa (MTT).
In the process, Telkomsel has carried out checks to ensure that all livestock are in healthy condition and free of diseases so that they are safe for consumption by the public.
Sacrificial animal care will be distributed at locations including community settlements around Telkomsel offices, assets and operational infrastructure, mosques, hospitals, Islamic boarding schools, orphanages and foundations for persons with disabilities, places affected by natural disasters, as well as areas of high prevalence. stunted growth Above average.
Distribution of sacrificial animals in the form of slaughtered sacrificial meat and ready-to-eat food, such as lunch box and rendang, created in collaboration with local MSMEs.
