Sukabumi, West Java (MidLand) – Some residents living in Sukabumi City and Regency, West Java, were shocked by vibrations from a magnitude (M) 5.3 earthquake that occurred around 16:54 WIB on Sunday.
“There is no information on the damage yet, the earthquake shocked some residents,” BPBD Sukabumi Regency emergency and logistics section chief Medi Abdul Hakim said in Sukabumi on Sunday.
Data provided by BMKG, the earthquake of magnitude 5.3 was located at 7.81 south latitude, 106.55 east longitude, 91 km south of Sukabumi Regency with a depth of 10 km.
