Profile and educational history of Zinedine Alam Ganjar
Muhammad Zinedine Alam Ganjar or better known as Alam Ganjar is the only son of the couple Ganjar Pranowo and Siti Atikoh Supriyanti. Born on December 14, 2001 in Semarang, Central Java, he is now 21 years old.
Alam studied at SMP 2 Semarang and graduated in 2017. Subsequently, he continued his education at SMA 3 Semarang, specializing in Natural Sciences or Natural Sciences and graduated in 2020.
Currently, Alam is pursuing higher studies at his father and mother’s alma mater i.e. Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta. He attended the Industrial Engineering study program at the Faculty of Engineering of UGM.
According to the Central Java Public Relations website, Alam was an outstanding student during school. He brought home a gold medal in an international science competition in South Korea in 2015. At that time, Alam was still in middle school (SMP).
Besides that, he and his colleagues also won third place in the Junior Achievement (JA) Asia Pacific Company of the Year competition in March 2019 in the Philippines. Sagasco Student Company, a student company from SMAN 3 Semarang where Alam developed his creations, also won third place and the best financial management award.

This international event was organized by JA Asia Pacific which is part of JA Worldwide. It is one of the largest youth-serving NGOs in the world, committed to preparing young people for work and entrepreneurship.
At this event, Alam and his friends from Sagasco SMAN 3 Semarang also brought their flagship company products, namely Echoes and Whynotes. These are handmade multifunctional footwear and binders made of water hyacinth and combined with batik.
Thanks to their experience in business creation, Alam and his colleagues managed to outperform 17 other student companies from 12 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. This creation managed to attract the attention of the judges and ensured that Alam and his friends managed to win the championship.
Based on his personal Linkedin account, since August 2022, Alam Ganjar holds a strategic position in the Indonesian E-Sports Executive Committee (PBESI) as Vice President for Central Java Region. He is also head of strategy at Global Shapers Semarang, which is still part of the World Economic Forum as of July 2022.
Alam is also the deputy of human resources in the department of Industrial Engineering Students Association at Gadjah Mada University since March 2022. He has also served as the rotating president of Indonesia E-Sports Association (IESPA) Central Java since February 2022 until now.
