Jakarta (MidLand) – The Agency of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) on Wednesday predicted that some parts of Jakarta will experience rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds for a short period in the afternoon.
Citing data released by the BMKG official website, the weather in the areas of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta and Seribu Islands is expected to be mostly cloudy in the morning.
By early afternoon, light rain is possible in areas of West Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta, while areas of Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and Seribu Islands will be sunny and cloudy.
BMKG warned of the possibility of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas in the afternoon.
At night, the weather in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is expected to be cloudy and sunny. Meanwhile, light rain will shower areas of South Jakarta and East Jakarta.
Sunny and cloudy weather is expected to cover Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta and Seribu Islands in the early hours of Thursday (23/11). Meanwhile, cloudy skies are forecast for West Jakarta.
The air temperature in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is generally between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius, with humidity between 70 and 95%.
