JAKARTA – SAMSUNG has officially launched two new variants of the Samsung Galaxy A series, namely the Samsung Galaxy A05s and A05. These two phones bring a number of upgrades in a number of aspects.

According to Ricky Bunardi, Senior Manager of MX Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics Indonesia, this entry level mobile phone offers a number of new features in the screen, battery, camera and, of course, the camera.

So what do the Samsung Galaxy A05s and A05 offer? Here is the review.

Screen

The Galaxy A05 has a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS 60Hz screen enhanced with Infinity-U Display, so you can view content on a larger screen. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A05s has similar dimensions but features FHD+ resolution with a fast 90Hz refresh rate.

Camera

The Galaxy A05 features dual main cameras with 50MP + 2MP resolution which Samsung claims is capable of capturing every detail very well and clearly. Meanwhile, the front camera adopts 8MP camera.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A05s has three lenses, with a 50MP main lens supported by a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile the selfie camera has been increased to 13MP.

Run

The Galaxy A05 is powered by Mediatek Helio G85 with a choice of three RAM/ROM configurations, namely 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A05s has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset combined with a choice of 6GB/128GB RAM/ROM.

“The presence of the Snapdragon 680 is an attraction for the Galaxy A series, especially since it is an IDR 1 million mobile phone that uses this processor,” Ricky said.
