JAKARTA – SME DigitalFest 2023 encourages MSMEs to realize digital transformation. The event took place at the SMESCO Building, Jakarta on 11-12 August 2023.
The strong growth of SMEs in Indonesia has increased in recent years. Exabytes Indonesia as organizer is also fully engaged in digital literacy education of MSMEs.
According to data from Exabytes, the growth of websites in Indonesia is around 3,000-5,000 every month. Most of these MSMEs are also dominated by the creative industry sector.
“We see quite positive website growth. Early May we saw one [pertumbuhan] 16-17% every month,” Exabytes Indonesia Country Manager Indra Hartawan said on Friday (8/11/2023).
He admitted that the MPMI digitization process would make it easier for companies to achieve their goals to promote their products more widely. This will be the theme “Building resilient SMEs in the digital age”.
However, in practice, there are still many MSMEs that lack the information they need to digitize their product marketing. Not to mention concerns about the security of digital services.
