Secretary General Gerindra admitted that there had been intense discussions with PDI Perjuangan

Last intensive communication before Eid 2024.

Jakarta (MidLand) – General Secretary (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, acknowledged the intense discussions with PDI Perjuangan after the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential elections (Pilpres).

“The discussions were intense and productive,” Ahmad Muzani said on Thursday at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta.

Muzani revealed that the last intensive communication will take place before Eid 2024.

According to him, there is an opportunity for a meeting between the general president of the Gerindra party, Prabowo Subianto, and the general president of PDI Pejuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri.

It was also said that the timetable of the meeting between the two national political figures is being prepared, and that it is possible that after the decision on the case concerning the dispute over the results of the general elections (PHPU) or the dispute over the presidential elections of 2024 at the Constitutional Court.

Meanwhile, Pro-Jokowi Volunteers (Projo) general president Budi Arie Setiadi called Prabowo Subianto’s scheduled meeting with Megawati Soekarnoputri an opportunity to reconcile relations at the political elite level following the dynamics of the 2024 presidential election.

“We just have to wait. However, what is certain is that our principle supports national unity. Secondly, if the political elite is harmonious, the people will also be happy,” Budi Arie Setiadi said in the Palace complex Indonesian Presidential Conference, Jakarta, Thursday.
