Samsung is developing foldable laptops and tablets – Okezone techno
SAMSUNG is developing new foldable tablets and laptops. The South Korean manufacturer has said that this device will be different from the foldable mobile.
This news was conveyed by President and Head of the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business, TM Roh. He pointed out that their new folder was inspired by how to open and read a book.
The Samsung boss said that foldable screen technology, like in mobile devices, can be applied to tablets and laptops. Roh said Samsung is investing significant resources in the technology.
He also confirmed that the device will have a thin and lightweight foldable screen. It is also expected that users will be able to get a device with the best durability for daily use.
Previously, rumors about Samsung’s foldable tablet have been circulating since last year. But this year only the Galaxt Tab S9 was launched on the market, which has not yet adapted to the foldable screen.
Interestingly, Samsung has patented the name “Galaxy Z Fold Tab”, as revealed by LetsGoDigital. Based on this information, it is likely that the foldable tablet will be ready for launch in the near future.
Unfortunately, up until now, Roh has not wanted to comment on this news either. But what’s clear is that this news has at least answered curiosity about Samsung’s foldable tablets and laptops.
