Samsung announces OneUI 6.0 based on Android 14, what’s new?

TIME.CO, JakartaSAMSUNG launch Samsung Developer Conference 2023 (SDC23) with One UI 6, the latest version of the software.

Citing pages sammomobile.com, The beta version of the software has been released for Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Meanwhile, based on Android 14, it was previously only available for flagship S-series products.

The first One UI 6.0 beta firmware is rolling out for the Galaxy S23 series.

Users can also multitask thanks to pop-up windows, free placement of the clock on the lock screen, and simplified labels of Samsung app icons.

The Weather app has new widgets and an interactive map view, while the camera has more alignment options, filters and effects. There are also improvements to Samsung’s calendar, reminders, and Internet apps, as well as a smarter airplane mode.

Users can also customize call greetings via Bixby text. Other accessibility features include new zoom and cursor weight options.
