In the beta version in circulation, WhatsApp users will be able to verify their data and access their accounts. This feature was also supported by Google Password Manager.
“Now you can use your fingerprint, face or screen lock to check if it’s you with a passkey,” WhatsApp wrote.

On the password settings page, users can later enable a passkey to initiate identity verification. However, if you feel uncomfortable, the user can disable it and use the password method as usual.
