Regent: Fun Trail Run 2024 helps promote Sukabumi tourism world

Sukabumi, West Java (MidLand) – Sukabumi Regent Marwan Hamami said that the Fun Trail Run 2024 Goalpara Tea Park, in which hundreds of runners from various regions of Indonesia participated, helped promote tourism in the Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

“This activity, in which about 350 runners from various regions participated, was not only to find athletes, but also to help us promote various tourist attractions in Sukabumi Regency,” he said at Goalpara Teapark, Sukaraja District on Sunday.

According to Marwan, hundreds of runners had to cover a distance of 8km along the route at the foot of Gede Pangrango mountain and finish at Goalpara Tea Park. While traveling the specified route, they were able to admire the natural panorama of Mount Gede Pangrango, which is one of the main tourist attractions of Sukabumi Regency.

It is hoped that these runners will help promote tourist destinations in the second largest district of the islands of Java and Bali so that they can increase tourist arrivals.

Such nature exploration activities are one of the promotional programs intensively carried out by the Sukabumi Regency Government, and it cooperates with various agencies, private companies, business entities and communities in its implementation.

“Through the 2024 Fun Trail Run, the potential can be further explored. The world of tourism in Sukabumi Regency must continue to be promoted and supported, like this business,” he said.

Marwan said the Sukabumi Regency government created a 2024 tourism calendar that contained various activities to promote various tourist attractions, products of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and others as attractions to attract tourists.
