MidLand, Jakarta – Qualcomm has launched its latest mobile chipset i.e Snapdragon 7 generation 3. This new chipset comes as an update to Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 which features AI on the device.
Quoted from Gadgets now, Snapdragon 7 generation 3 featuring a Kryo CPU that includes an ARM Cortex-A715 main core clocked at 2.63 GHz, 3 A715 performance cores with speeds up to 2.4 GHz, and 4 Cortex-A510 efficiency cores with clock speeds up to 1 .8 GHz. Compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, this new chipset has an almost 15% increase in CPU performance.
The new chipset comes with an Adreno 720 GPU which Qualcomm claims has 50% faster performance than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has support for OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 FP, and Vulkan 1.3.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 promises significant speed improvements for generative AI applications. Benchmark results show that Stable Diffusion images can be created from prompt text in just one second. According to the company, the Qualcomm AI engine in the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 delivers 60% better AI performance per watt than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
The chipset has a 12-bit Triple ISP and can support photo shooting up to 200MP. This chipset can support triple, dual and single camera setups, each of which is capable of capturing photos at up to 21MP, 32+21MP and 64MP.

For video, this chipset enables 4K HDR video at 60 FPS and supports HEIC photo capture and HEVC video capture. This chipset also offers the ability to record HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG video formats, as well as 1080p slow motion video at 120 FPS.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 includes the Snapdragon It also features the Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 mobile connectivity system for Bluetooth 5.3 and support for triple frequency localization.
