PSBS will continue to use Cenderawasih Stadium in the League 2 semi-final
Jakarta (MidLand) – Yan Mandenas, manager of PSBS Biak, confirmed that his team will remain at Cendrawasih Stadium, Biak, in the semi-final of Indonesian League 2.
Quoted from the official website of the Indonesian League, Yan coordinated with the regional government and competition operators on Friday regarding the use of the Cendrawasih Stadium, although several renovation works are currently underway.
“We are providing comfort to the visiting team for the match to take place smoothly and safely, including the stadium facilities which we are currently improving,” he continued.
Yan continued to explain that PSBS Biak in this season’s competition not only wants to be promoted to Indonesian League 1 next season, but also wants to become the champion of Indonesian League 2.

Yan also has a desire for the team nicknamed Pacific Storm to have a positive impact, uplifting the Biak Numfor area and increasing the community’s economic income.
“We had the goal from the beginning that PSBS Biak was not just to qualify for League 1, but our main goal was to win Pegadaian League 2. We want to create a new history for football in Papua,” Yan said .
“I don’t want PSBS Biak to leave Biak, but to still play there even in the semi-finals,” he concluded.
In the first leg of the semifinal of the Indonesian League 2 2023/24, PSBS Biak will face Persiraja Banda Aceh first at Langsa Stadium, next Sunday (25/2).
