Jakarta (MidLand) – The Precision Pioneer Patrol Team of the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police arrested 12 teenagers suspected of planning to fight in the early hours of Saturday morning at two different locations in the area.
“A total of 12 teenagers were detained in two different locations, namely in Jalan Kedoya Raya, Kebon Jeruk and in Jalan S Parman Slipi, Palmerah,” said AKBP unit chief M Hari Agung Julianto of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police West in a written statement in Jakarta. .
At the location of Jalan Kedoya Raya, Kebon Jeruk, (West Jakarta), seven teenagers were arrested at 01:00 WIB along with two sickles, a sword and a beam.
Meanwhile, at 04:30 WIB, the team again arrested five teenagers along with three sickles and two firecrackers in Jalan S Parman, Slipi, Palmerah, West Jakarta.

Furthermore, the arrested teenagers were taken to Kebon Jeruk Police and Palmerah Police for further examination and to determine further action regarding this case.
Agung explained that his party will increase the intensity of regional patrols to prevent and minimize incidents
fights and other safety issues occur.
“Patrols will be carried out intensively during crime-prone hours, i.e. 00:00 to 05:00 WIB,” he said.
This was done as a preventative effort to maintain security and order in the West Jakarta (Jakbar) area.
