JAKARTA – Apple just about to release Macbook Pro and a MacBook Air with the M3 chip next year. This was leaked by famous leaker Mark Gurman.
Like the iPad Pro series, Apple will not release its new laptop this year. Additionally, Gurman said that the new MacBook Pro M3 will be available in early 2024, while the new MacBook Air M3 will follow a few months later.
Gurman had previously predicted that a MacBook Air equipped with the new chip would launch in October, but now says the device will be released sometime next spring or summer at the earliest.
Gurman reports that the 13- and 15-inch M3 MacBook Airs are now in the engineering verification testing (EVT) phase. On the other hand, the MacBook Pro M3 is already in series production.
Launch from Dedicate onselfOn Tuesday (10/17/2023), Gurman said that the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips have reached the DVT phase, or design validation testing.
That’s what puts Apple on track to release the two laptops between early and spring 2024. Gurman’s report also contradicts rumors this weekend that Apple will introduce a new iPad this week.
