GAME 2K Basketball has announced an in-depth look at the new features and updates coming to MyTEAM NBA2K24. One of them is a game-changing mode update with a brand new MTP increase, an overhaul of the XP system, and a new player market.
MyTEAM will also include next-gen crossplay, updates to Triple Threat Online and Clutch Time, as well as the introduction of a new multiplayer mode, Salary Cap and more.
“As one of the most engaged player bases in the series, we innovate MyTEAM every year by collaborating with our community to deliver one of the most comprehensive card collection modes in the industry,” said Erick Boenisch, VP of NBA Development at Visual Concepts.
“The introduction of much-needed features, such as the new Player Market, increased MTP earnings rates, and an overhaul of the XP system, are just a few of the many things we hope fans will enjoy in MyTEAM in NBA 2K24.” He continued.
So what are the main highlights of this year’s NBA 2K24 MyTEAM update? Here is the review.
MTP updates
The MTP earning rate for all modes has been significantly increased, giving everyone more flexibility simply by playing on MyTEAM.
Salary cap
The new multiplayer mode coming to MyTEAM in NBA 2K24 features three two-week rotations in each season. Each round includes a ranking, salary cap for player training and prizes.
New Players Market
MyTEAM continues to be the best place to assemble a roster of your favorite NBA players from any era, build your roster, and dominate the competition. In NBA 2K24, Player Cards can be obtained directly from the new Player Market using VC or MTP, allowing for more team customization options than ever before.
The Player Market replaces the Auction House to create a level playing field for everyone on MyTEAM, while providing access to nearly every available player card.
