Jakarta (MidLand) – DPR RI member Nafa Urbach admitted that the oath/promise for DPR/DPD/MPR RI members for 2024-2029 was not only a promise to society, but also to God .
“So yes, there is a little weight, but there is little excitementfun and Happy haha, excited,” Nafa said after attending the plenary session to take oath/pledge of DPR/DPD/MPR RI members for 2024-2029 at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Therefore, he said there are a number of issues he will focus on when he becomes a member of the council for the next five years, namely culture, tourism and education.
“Because we have had several discussions so far,” he said.
He said the education issue worries him because it is related to human resource development, so many things need to be reviewed.
“From the curriculum, continuing from the zoning of school premises, there must be school buildings for elementary, middle and high schools, and from the Law on the National Education System (UU Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System) it is also necessary,” he said .

According to the decree of the Indonesian KPU on the results of the 2024 elections for the period 2024-2029, a total of 580 members of the RI DPR and 152 members of the RI DPD were elected. People’s representatives were appointed at the meeting Tuesday MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building, Jakarta.
The number of candidates elected members of the DPR who were sworn into office increased from 575 to 580 people, while the number of candidates elected members of the DPD RI increased from 136 to 152 people compared to the previous period.
Based on the results of the 2024 elections, the political parties that have qualified for Senayan are PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, Gerindra Party, National Awakening Party, NasDem Party, Prosperous Justice Party, Democratic Party and National Mandate Party.
