MyBCA account hacking service circulation on the dark web, capital account number and owner name only: Okezone techno

SALAH One target targeted by hackers is bank details. The reason is that bank data is going to be very important and very vulnerable because it relates to where our money is stored.

One bank often targeted by hackers is BCA bank. After previously spreading the news that there was a virus in the BCA Mobile application and the sale of BCA credit card customer data, now one of the largest private banks in Indonesia is being hacked again.

Teguh Aprianto, the founder of Ethical Hacker Indonesia through his official Twitter account, identified this attempt on BreachForums. In this forum, hackers open services to access anyone’s MyBCA account.

The only way to do this is by depositing the account number and name of the MyBCA account holder. No kidding, the hacker attached screenshots or screenshots of six MyBCA accounts.

It’s just that the attached screenshot is just the front view. It is known that in the front view there is the name of the account holder, the account number and the last transaction made. “This service is sold for only $500 or around IDR 7.5 million. The author also attached a display while logging in to the six account holders,” Teguh Aprianto tweeted.

It’s just that the commission will be very different if the MyBCA account holder’s profile or account number belongs to a certain group. The higher the status of the MyBCA account owner, the price will be very different.

Teguh Aprianto admitted that he did not understand the methods of offering the service. This is because hackers only give access to MyBCA accounts. However, users of the service cannot make any transactions. “Being able to enter doesn’t mean you can transact,” she tweeted.

It’s just that providing these services remains a crime. The reason is that entering or accessing someone’s account information without authorization violates article 32 paragraph 3 of the law on electronic information and transactions (ITE) number 19 of 2016.

“Regarding the actions set forth in paragraph (1) that involve the disclosure of electronic information and/or electronic documents that are confidential that the public can access with data integrity that is not as it should be,” it reads in article 32 paragraph 3 of the ITE Law n. 19 of 2016.
